Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is a Four Diamond resort destination recognized for luxurious accommodations, award-winning dining and casino gaming.
Objective: Atlantis Casino Resort Spa wanted to boost email engagement rates and drive casino visitation among local and inactive players during the holidays.
Role: Planned, developed and executed email campaign from start to finish, including assets, copy and landing page.
Strategy: For this specific email campaign, I took the concept of gamification by incorporating interactive gameplay elements similar to a traditional slot game. I worked with the design team to create an animated GIF of a slot machine with spinning reels.
Each one of the reel symbols represented a different offer that can be redeemed on the casino floor: a scoop of free gelato, 1 free buffet and 25% off rooms. In order to play the game, the user must click on the email and line up the matching symbols on the customized landing page to win said prize.
Results: Click through rate increased by over 200%. The email also generated increased casino play among the target audience.
